Thank you for your interest in investing in the lives of the young men, women and children who are ministered to through the Sacramento Valley Teen Challenge (SVTC) transformational program. SVTC is entirely privately funded. We have elected to not receive any government funding, nor do we sign our students up for welfare or food stamps.
The cost to care for, house, and train one student in the SVTC program is $2,000/month. The students are able to earn about $500/month by working in the various SVTC student enterprises. Some of the men and women who come to us and their families are not able to pay for all or even any of the remaining $1,500/month cost. Since we never turn anyone away for a lack of finances, we rely upon “Good Samaritans,” to help us sponsor these desperate young people through this 13 to 16 month Christian life-transforming program.
As a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization all your gifts are tax-deductible.
Thank you for giving to Teen Challenge.”
